This is what happens when you hit something with a real wheel. It doesn’t break apart. It doesn’t create shrapnel. It doesn’t create an immense danger on the track.
Your tire deflates, your car hops, and you pull over to the side.
Safety. Yet another reason to support the real wheel industry.
I say the fight between real wheels and fake wheels is annoying bullshit… For you hard parkers that wanna look pretty or you track nuts that need the insurance and can drop another 600 for one new wheel get real ones. For you people on a budget that wanna look good and have something inexpensive to fuck up and just buy another one for cheap, get the reps (a quality one atleast.)
Drags, xxr, rotas they look good and are pretty affordable for anyone. Schmidts, image, bbs nothing beats their beauty and quality but schmidts are almost a thousand dollars per wheel, images are almost 500 a wheels. A set of xxr’s are 500 for a set…
Cut the bullshit of real>fake, oem> aftermarket, etc. If it looks good, if it performs enjoy it. Quit comparing one anothers taste to your own… Our cars are our art, no ones style is the same as anyone else’s.
And this isn’t directed to Mike at all its to everyone in the bullshit argument
I completely agree with you. On all points. But me being a brand whore I would personally still take a “real” wheel over a “rep” one. Me being on a budget means I run stock wheels a couple of months longer. But I can wait.
